Acquiring your instrument is only half the battle. Fortunately, we have connections with many of the musical educators in the Matanuska Valley! Private instruction is a fantastic way to get individualized guidance as you master your craft. At Matanuska Music, we provide multiple studio spaces available to rent for private instructors to teach the art of music. Can’t make it to the store? We have a list of teachers who are located throughout the Valley, be they in private studios, a teacher’s home, or even on-site lessons at your home!

STUDIO I: "THE HALL"
This is a wide hall with adjoining practice spaces that includes multiple stands and seats available for up to ten people. This hall is perfect for group lessons for a variety of instruments including ukulele, guitar, orchestral and band instruments. Whatever your practice needs require, this room has you covered.
STUDIO II: "THE GALLERY"
This is a framed, sheet rocked small practice room with a large glass door including a beautiful upright grand. The walls are unpadded for a bright, open sound with light resonance. Perfect for teaching a variety of instruments and is currently home to our fretted instrument and piano lessons, plugged and unplugged alike.
STUDIO III: "THE VOX BOX"
This is a highly padded practice room with an electric piano and a PA system. The walls are lined with thick sheet rock and glued carpet for a thick sound and no echo or resonance. It is a great room for vocal training, set up just right to help you find your voice.
